Odia Bhasa Pratisthan

The Odia Bhasha Pratisthan is a Committed autonomous institution functioning under the Dept. of Odia Language, Literature and culture for its Preservation, Propagation, and Patronisation. This Pratisthan was established on the glorious day of 'Utakal Divas', i.e.on 1st April in 2006. Initially it was under the administrative control of the School and Mass Education, Dept. Subsequently, it has been functioning under the Dept. of Odia Language, Literature and Culture since Dt.24/06/2015. It Consists of a General Body and an Executive Committee. The Hon'ble Minister of Odia Language, Literature and Culture happens to be the Ex-officio President of the said Governing Body and he himself also adorns the post of Chairman of the Executive Committee at the same time. The Chief Secretary, Govt.of Odisha is also the Ex-officio acting chairman of the Executive Committee.
